The Hadnott Foundation is committed to educating men and women about early detection efforts and prevention initiatives for breast and prostate cancer. We partner with other non-profit organizations to raise money and awareness.
In addition the foundation advocates the improvement of healthy lifestyles throughout the African-American and Hispanic communities. Our focus is on providing support to programs that address the cultural uniqueness of selected communities and the health issues they face.
Education and access to resources are the keys to improving the quality of life for people of color while helping to break the cycle of low survival rates. We believe in the positive role that a healthy diet moderate exercise and stress reduction can play in reducing the number of cancer-related deaths among people of color.
